Charles Amirkhanian, a California-based composer, percussionist, and radio producer, exposes many recordings from American composer Lou Harrison's collection of 33 and 78 acetate discs in a broadcast from 10 March 1971 on Archive.org. I find the rapid evolution of composition techniques within the narrow time frame very interesting throughout this retrospect and also enjoy the rendition of Henry Cowell's Pulse (which is still one of my favorite 20th century ensemble pieces).
